Working group discusses energy supply issues in liberated Azerbaijani lands

Another meeting of the Working Group on Energy Supply of the Interdepartmental Center under the Coordination Headquarters, established to resolve the issues in the territories of Azerbaijan freed from Armenian occupation, was held, Tendency reports August 31.

During the meeting, representatives of the relevant state agencies informed about the measures taken to reconstruct and restore the energy infrastructure in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, as well as the work related to the implementation of the decisions taken during the meeting. previous meetings of the Working Group.

The ongoing work to provide electricity and heat to strategic facilities in Shusha City was discussed.

Participants were briefed on power plants, power lines and boiler houses that are under construction in the city.

The construction works of the Khudaferin and Giz Galasi hydropower plants with a capacity of 200 MW and 80 MW, respectively, have been considered.

The points of view on the creation of gas distribution infrastructures, the inventory, the processes of taking into account gas installations in the balance sheet and the protection of the existing infrastructures in these territories were exchanged.

The coordination headquarters, established by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 24, 2020, is headed by the head of the presidential administration Samir Nouriyev.
