Registration is now open for American Agri-Women Global Food and Energy Supply Conversation

American Agri-Women will host a global conversation on food and energy supply later this month. The organization planned the July 27 event in response to member and public interest in the group’s recent symposium titled “Rebirth, Renew, Refuel: Balancing Our Natural Resources.”

One of the Conversation’s panelists is Dean Foreman, chief economist of the American Petroleum Institute and an expert on the economics and markets of oil, natural gas and electricity.

Foreman is joined by American Farm Bureau Federation chief economist Roger Cryan, who has decades of experience analyzing food and agricultural economics. Cryan spoke about the implications of the war in Ukraine for food and agriculture.

The conversation will open with the global perspective of Rose Barbuto with the Farm Journal Foundation. Barbuto worked with the United Nations World Food Program in Rome and held several senior international field positions in Zambia, Somalia and South Sudan, working on complex humanitarian emergencies and managing food aid programs to refugees.

The virtual event will take place on Wednesday, July 27 at 1:30 p.m. Central Time. To register, visit
